WOODLANDS AND SPINNEYS IN ROTHLEY

There are many small spinneys and copses in the Parish of Rothley, most un-named on the maps. Where they do not have an 'official' name I have chosen one that reflects their situation but I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has information about origins, date of planting and a name gleaned from old maps.
