TREE LIST WITH SK AND SITE NUMBERS

Many of the trees listed were not classed as 'ancient' at the time they were measured but one day they will be! Will they survive? Some have already been cut down and not just because they were unstable. Some were in the way of progress and others because owners did not want them and found ways to get them cut down.
Perhaps when attitudes to trees and leaves change, when it is realised how important they are to well-being, then we might see more being planted and the desire to safeguard the history that we already have in this parish.

Some owners love their trees and pass this love to their children and grandchildren. Long may this continue.

The recording of trees started in 2002 and continued until 2010.
