In August 1988 this spinney was surveyed by P.A.Evans and the following species recorded:
Fraxinus excelsior-Common ash
Larix sp.-Larch
Prunus avium-Wild cherry
Prunus spinosa-Cherry
Quercus robur-Oak
Sambucus nigra-Elder
Holcus mollis
There was almost no shrub layer in 1988.
