SITE 309 LOST CORNER (3)

This is another small parcel of field created by the building of the Mountsorrel By-pass. It was once part of Site 292 Link, a field running from the old A6 to the River Soar.
At the time of our visit it did not appear to be used so the vegetation was left to grow. The Rothley Brook borders it on one side and access is from the road leading to Farnham Bridge Farm and Soar Bank Farm.
It could develop into an interesting little wildlife site but would need to have some regimented grazing to be kept at its best.
