Location: Accessed from Cossington Road by the Canal
This is an interesting triangular piece of field bordered by the canal and a good watercourse made up of wide ditch and a stream linking the canal and extending into a pond in Site 186 Hay Flat, Cossington Lane.
It can be accessed over the lock gates or from Site 187 Soar Meadow Hay Flat.
It would be worth recording the species along the banks of the stream and ditch.
