This is one of many fields chopped about by the building of the A6 By-pass thus reducing its size and use. It was meadow at the time of our visit.
It is bordered on one side by a Public Footpath, which then turns to run along a further side and the Rothley Brook from Farnham Bridge on the old A6 under the by-pass.
It could be an interesting piece of meadow if left for hay, especially with the banks of the brook.
It was not necessary to access this field due to the footpath.
