Like many of the fields close to the River Soar this is another that has been re-shaped following the building of the A6 by-pass. This is the reason for all the 'lost corners' of fields that now exist in the parish.
The front area of this field remains intact but the area closest to the river has become a separate piece of land Site 295 Berry.
At the time of our visit it was used for cattle grazing.
There are old parkland railings in the hawthorn hedgerow fronting Loughborough Road.
