There is no public access to any part of Swithland Reservoir.

I will have to search the old maps to see where the boundary was prior to the building of the reservoir and buildings in the early 1890's.
The Parish of Rothley extends into the reservoir beyond the small plantation, Kinchley Hill Plantation Site 237, and this part can be seen from Kinchley Lane or from Cornfield 3 Site 235, this latter site having lovely views from a high perspective.
There is more work and research to be done on this site.
