SITE 193 STOCKING CLOSE SPINNEY

This spinney is covered by a group Tree Preservation Order.
It has no management and although this spinney is privately owned it is greatly used by dog walkers and therefore highly disturbed for wildlife.
There are bluebells in the spring and these were recorded in June 2007 as part of the Rothley W.I. Wildflower Survey.
The trees are not ancient and the area quite small for anything of significance.
