SITE 192 FOWKE STREET RECREATION GROUND

OS REF:SK585128

OS REF:SK585128

Owners: Rothley Parish Council

Date: 2nd February 2007

This site has still to be recorded.

It is used as a football field with a play area with swings etc. It is also the proposed site for a Youth Club with portacabins to be placed on the site of the old pumping station, which was re-sited in Site 166 in 2004/5. There is a lot of opposition to the youth club site.

The field is surrounded by trees but doubt that they are of sufficient girth to record as ancient.
