OS REF:SK58951315

Date: 2nd October 2003

This is a very pleasant piece of pasture and Ragged Robin was seen growing just inside the gateway on the Loughborough Road. It is due to be sold so its future is unknown. It has a boundary with the Rothley Brook. There are some good willows along the brook and road boundaries.

The field was sold in April 2004 but purchaser not known.

Rothley Parish Council planted trees in 2006 along the inside boundary.

In 2008 the field was changed to arable which is a great shame as we have lost some lovely pasture in a lovely setting.

The above is part of the Remarks and Stipulations of the sale.
