SITE 170 ENCLOSED FIELD
There is no public access to this field.
Date: 7th may 2003
This field is enclosed by other fields on this Fields Farm site and is used for cattle grazing. There are no Ancient Trees and the hedgerows will need to be detailed as part of a Hedgerow Survey as the whole area is vulnerable due to being owned by a builder and used by Rodney Clarke as Tenant Farmer.
A further visit would be beneficial in the spring to see if there are plants of interest.

I used this field as a means to access another site and found three Giant Puffball Gleba not far from the gate to the derelict farm buildings. Also there was an excellent crop of late blackberries so Lesley and I enjoyed these for our tea. Well worth using as a cut through! Must remember it for next year.
