Died in Sicily on the 15th August 1943 aged 23 years.

Originally buried in Sicily, Private Sibson was re-buried in the Catania War Cemetery, Sicily on the 26th January 1944. His grave inscription is 'JUST A MEMORY TRUE AND TENDER, OF ONE WE LOVED AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER'

Son of Walter and Lily Sibson of Fowke Street, Rothley, who were married in Rothley Parish Church in 1912
