Many villages had benefactors many years ago who left money in the form of a Trust with specific instructions as to how the money should be used. Some of these have a very small balance in the financial world of 2012 but over 100 years ago made a big contribution to village life.
Here in Rothley we still have one very active Trust that has really stood the test of time and will do so well into the future.
