Portrait Postcards
This family album dates from 1913 and they would not have known how it would change from Birthday postcards to postcards sent from the trenches in the First World War. These postcards below are simple in their greetings and illustrate a period in life that was to change dramatically. Some messages were spread over two or three cards.
