MINUTES 7TH NOVEMBER 1946

Seriousness at last! Mr. Jacques of Quorn Grammar School kindly came and gave us a talk on Russia. he took his notes from two articles in "The Times".
A slight discussion followed in which the Vicar almost claimed to know Toski! A very interesting and enjoyable evening.

MINUTES 14TH NOVEMBER 1946

No Club meeting on Nov. 14th because of the Nov. 15th Rothley Youth Club Invitation Dance to members of neighbouring Youth Clubs. A radiogram was hired from a Leicester firm. The dance went off very well, but only about 20 people came. Quorn had a previous engagement and presumably the weather prevented Birstall from coming. All the same a good time was had by all.

MINUTES 21ST NOVEMBER 1946

An ordinary meeting-games only. The Club gets worse and worse. Whatever is done usually refuses to appeal to the majority. It's a poor show but then, we haven't any talent.

MINUTES 28TH NOVEMBER 1946

An evening of games-this time, there was, however some sign of organisation attached to the various games which included "Consequences" & "Yes-No".
