In 2012 we moved from Mountsorrel to Rothley and with my husband, Roger, we have happily settled into village life.
I retired from Leicestershire Police after 32 years service with my last 15 years as a detective in serious crime.
In 2015 I became a Church Warden at St Leonard's Church, Swithland - a very different focus, on the congregation, rather than on criminals!
I care about local issues and am willing to contribute in practical ways to assist people in local matters. My interest is in Rothley continuing to be a friendly village and safe place to live.
As a Parish Councillor I am very much looking forward to serving the community of Rothley.
