POSTCARD SENT FROM SIDNEY BULL TO IRENE A. BULL (SISTER)^

2 September 1915

Dear Jummie

Your welcome home letters rec'd. They are nice to get here. Can't reply as short letters are the order as time is scarce. We've been in the trenches and now are on force short spell. So far I'm untouched but some of our boys are outed.

Fondest to all

Your aff. Brother

"Sid"

(The postcard had been censored. Sidney had put his whereabouts at the top of the card. This had been scribbled out and replaced with the words "Somewhere in Gallipoli"

^ Later married to Edwin Marshall Hyman. (My grandparents).
