Son of Joseph and Ann Boulton, brother to Edith May, Hilda, Ethel, Joseph Wilfred, Doris Emma, Annie, Florence Lilian, Katie and Gladys Boulton. He married Irene Burditt in 1934 and had a son, John, in 1935'
