Blue Plaque
Rothley's only Blue Plaque was put up in North Street in 2015 for Robert Jackson Emerson
You can find it here in North Street
This picture dates to around 1913 and shows Fanny Emerson, with daughter Fanny, at the entrance to their shop and home in North Street. Fanny's husband, Jack, is on the right of the group in the road.
