Called in to the Rothley Parish Council Office and asked about the land I have called Field 1 and ownership. Advised the Rothley Temple Estates would need to be approached for permission to visit. I also asked about the rather untidy piece of land to the back of the Recreation Ground next to Field 1 and what could be done to improve it for the public. Advised by the Clerk to the Council that there was talk of trying to swap the Recreation Ground with Field 1 to create a larger piece of ground as it could be linked to the Donkey Field.

This is very much in the future but it could make sense to plot the hedgerows and any mature trees on Field 1 to ensure their survival.

In 2016 permission was being sought by the owner to build stables on the land and to widen the access.
