113 THE PADDOCK
PART OF WESTFIELD FARM, WESTFIELD LANE
Date: 10th April 2002
This field is approached from a track leading to Westfield Farmhouse. It has Ridge and Furrow. It used to be a much larger field as part of it has been fenced off and used for horse grazing. Another rectangle was taken out many years ago for building some houses on the Westfield Lane.
It is currently empty of livestock but there is evidence of two old pig pens. Trees in the boundary belong to houses on The Ridgeway and those in no. 19 have been recorded as Ancient Trees 44-47 in Site 125.
Following the death of Kathleen Hyman in 2006 the farm will no longer remain in the Hyman family as Tenant Farmers. Further information awaited.
